The Fluid Pen’s principal, Dieter Loibner, has more than 15 years of experience writing for a variety of media organizations and corporate clients.

His journalistic background as a reporter, feature writer, book author, and editor includes covering high-profile events such as the America’s Cup and the Olympic Games.

One of his specialties is the world of nautical publihsing. Loibner's first book, The Folkboat Story, was published by Sheridan House in 2002, with his next title, Sailing Big on a Small Sailboat due out in spring of 2007. As an author and editor he works for magazines, book publishers and corporate clients in Europe and the U.S.

Loibner was a guest lecturer at UC Berkeley Extension, and holds a Ph.D. in communications and political science from the University of Vienna, Austria.
